Robin McCoy is a visionary, community leader, social entrepreneur, and the President Chair of Women Organizing Women, Inc. She holds an MBA in Public Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Pomona, CA, and was ordained as an Evangelist in 2022 by the Scripture Therapy Center of Pomona, CA.
For over 30 years, Robin has led Women Organizing Women (WOW), Inc., an international consortium dedicated to building and improving communities, particularly focusing on mission initiatives that support women in US, Africa and India. Through WOW's evangelistic outreach, mentoring programs for at-risk girls, and support for underserved communities, Robin has witnessed the transformative power of faith and community.
WOW is a generational organization, with many leaders emerging from families that have been touched by its mission. These women have become pillars in their homes, churches, businesses, and communities, continuing the legacy of service and faith established by their predecessors.
Robin and her team have provided tangible resources such as food, vocational training, acts of kindness, and prayer to support women worldwide. For the past six years, Robin has led a daily prayer team from 4 AM to 5 AM PST, Monday through Saturday, positioning their hearts for the Father to hear and respond to countless prayer requests.
Robin's commitment to the community extends beyond spiritual support. Under her leadership, WOW has provided sewing machines to women in Kakinada, India, and continues to support them by purchasing their handmade products. Robin has also led mission trips to Côte d'Ivoire, Africa, collaborating with Mount Carmel Community to mentor and support local communities.
WOW has partnered with numerous nonprofits, including Mission Hope, Rancho Damacitas, and Oak Grove Center, in various fundraising efforts. The launch of a social enterprise mobile kitchen in late 2024 will provide vocational training for underprivileged women, focusing on job skills and discipleship. This mobile kitchen will also serve as a food outreach source for feeding the homeless.
Since 2013, WOW has provided platforms for spreading the gospel through events like spoken word performances, Gospel Latte, Gospel Sunday Brunch, Coffee and Devotion, meet-and-greets, dessert competitions, film and music premiers, women's workshops, and marriage seminars. Robin's contributions have been recognized in countless local newspapers and magazines, including a feature in the Inland Empire Magazine's June 2023 edition, highlighting women who drive the region.
As a social entrepreneur, Robin also owns Robin’s Nest Desserts and Catering and serves as the Director of Culinary Programs and Executive Pastry Chef for Oak Grove Culinary Creations, a workability program for foster care and at-risk youth. Combining faith, business, and community, Robin is dedicated to doing good works and transforming lives through the art of cooking.
Robin McCoy, a native of Gary, IN, began her journey in the kitchen of her family's restaurant, where she learned the value of service and commerce. Today, she uses her platform to share the good news of Jesus Christ through word, deed, and culinary skills, finding her greatest joy in seeing young lives transformed through cooking.
Robin is a wife, Godmother, Spiritual Mom, Aunt, Sister, and Friend, but above all, a daughter of Abba Father.
